Our Health Matters – Reducing Health Disparities with LGBTQ Youth of Color 

Fenway Health, BAGLY, and Boston GLASS have joined forces on a research study to see how Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth of color can use Participatory Action Research to develop as leaders and change the world.

We want you to team up with us and other LGBTQ youth of color on a 16-week action research project and become an agent of change in your community!

You may be eligible for this project if you are…

  • between the ages of 16 and 25
  • live, learn, work, or play in the Boston Metro Area
  • identify as a person of color (i.e. Black, Latino, Asian, American Indian, Multiracial, or other youth of color)
  • identify as LGBTQ or questioning
  • can participate fully at weekly meetings for 16 weeks

You will receive up to $360 for attending all weekly meetings (2.5 hours each).

The Fenway Institute is doing interviews with parents to understand their feelings and experiences about parenting a lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or questioning youth of color.
